Teacher's Quote

In our school sciences are taught in such a way that scientific curiosity in students is kindled and interest in science and technology is achieved in a natural way.

We try to extend the children's understanding beyond the book. We relate theory to real-life situations and puzzles. For example, students are asked to calculate the height from which ice should be dropped so that on reaching the ground it would have melted completely, or why hot soup is tastier than cold soup. I believe information should turn into knowledge and knowledge should turn into understanding through exploration and experimentation.

SCIENCES

Sciences are taught at Omega through a mixture of theory and practice. Right from the primary classes, students have the opportunities to explore the Sciences through theoretical knowledge and hands-on activities to consolidate their learning. From experiments at home right through to specialised lab activities in our state of the art science laboratories, students have the opportunities to make these subjects come alive and enrich their understanding of the world around them.
