Teacher quote

Field trips are arranged often to give students direct experience of subject matter. I really enjoy taking students on field trips because children learn things by observing the subject matter personally. They touch, feel and experience the subject matter so that it will give them more information than the teacher can.

FIELD TRIPS

Field trips are used as an extension to the classroom learning experience. Students learn through observation and direct experience while enjoying a fun-filled day with their friends. This helps them relate to, and better understand the subjects they learn in the classrooms. Recent field trips have included a trip to the airport, a visit to explore the workings of the local post office, a visit to the planetarium, the meteorological department and a trip to a bakery where the children were able to bring home fresh bread, which was baked in front of their own eyes.
