YOGASANAS
Yoga makes us energetic, flexible and promotes health and well-being in body and mind. It relaxes us while at the same time increases our level of focus and attention. The Yoga class is scheduled once a week and is an integral part of the student's timetable. In addition, hostellers attend a yoga session before or after school three times per week. Amusing postures such as 'Dog', 'Cat', 'Peacock' and 'Plough' make the class entertaining at the junior level. Students are encouraged to laugh without restraint at the end of each session. The seniors practice more challenging asanas including Bhujanga asana (cobra pose), Ardhamatsyendra asana (twist pose), Sarvanga asana. Their young and supple bodies allow them to master difficult asanas with ease.
