ABACUS

Younger students of the IGCSE stream participate in Abacus classes, designed to further develop their mathematical skills and flexible thinking. Primarily conceived to develop neural brain functioning to the highest possible level, Abacus classes provide a graded course to develop visualisation skills, thinking skills, visual motor skills and the ability to handle large amounts of data mentally. Based on extensive scientific research, the system also develops in students the ability to solve complex arithmetic using an abacus.
