It is my belief that I should do my bit to make this world a better place, and to do so we should start at the roots. Who is best suited for this job? It is the teacher. It is the educationist’s duty to mould the youth of the country to create better people and to promote better living. That is the great responsibility we take on. That is the noblest thing we do.
My career spans 13 years and I have worked as a lecturer in Biotechnology before I made my transition to the school room. I have worked in the Cambridge and IB streams as an Exams Officer and a Facilitator in Biology. Omega’s greatest concern is for the welfare of the student. The holistic development of the child is the ultimate aim of education, so to build sensitive, happy, rational people who can hold their own in any environment, is the ambition that we cherish. The school curriculum imparts an education that embodies self-confidence and nurtures learning. A build-up of the individual personality is our ultimate aim. We prepare students with soul where mind and heart work in unison to make a future global generation. This preparation for life enables all Omega-ites to hold their own wherever they go.
At Omega the academic, social, emotional and cultural needs of the child are inculcated and strengthened with care. We prepare good citizens who will be an asset to any country. Our students go out with knowledge; confidence and emotional stability .They know who they are and what they can do to make a difference. The Value Based Education, that the school insists on, is the key to producing stable and unbiased young men and women who can make relevant changes to a fast changing world.
We have a dedicated staff, carefully chosen to cater to the needs of the students. We care for our facilitators and do our utmost to provide them with the required skills to become effective in the propagation of knowledge. Our teachers demonstrate professionalism and competence and play a significant role in the well-being and future of our students. They are provided with a variety of innovative technological tools and resources to enhance the cause of learning. Relevant training and workshops are conducted to increase their proficiency. Thus, the quality of instruction is exemplary and the performance of both teachers and students are in line with the skills necessary to cope with the 21st century world.
