NATIONAL CADET COURSE FOR OMEGA STUDENTS
9th of February 2011

On the 9th of February 2011, Omega's 50 cadets had an opportunity to learn rifle firing in Loyola College Chennai.

The army officers trained individually each one of our cadets in handling and using a rifle.
It was not really easy for them at the beginning and we could see their uneasiness but at last they managed to do well.

Our cadets then had to execute in front of the Commanding Officer Lt. Col. Anilram. The cadets were aiming the targets placed at a distance of 25m. Everyone's performance was examined by the Lt. Col. He was very satisfied by the achievement and behaviour of our cadets.

During the interaction the Lt. Col. Anilram stated: "Omega is the first school to be given this opportunity this year."

On the request to the Col., the Loyola College's senior division cadets demonstrated a rifle drill which was an excellent performance. After this presentation, a motivational talk was given to our cadets, with very useful elements to set their carrier in this field.
Our thanks go to the management to give all of us this kind of opportunity.

It is our first step and more will come.
