Leave rules

 

  • Students are urged not to take leave during the scholastic term, except for emergencies.
  • The school will grant a maximum of three days leave during school term in exceptional cases, involving emergencies.
  • All such leave has to be applied for, and approval taken, before the student leaves the dorm.
  • The school provided adequate term holidays to meet all contingencies, and keeping in mind all sentiments.
  • The school will not permit students to absent themselves beyond the period of the term holidays, other than for medical emergencies.
  • All such emergencies must be communicated to the Senior Warden, and the student must produce a Medical Certificate from the local doctor / General Practitioner upon return to the school.
  • In the event that no such certificate is produced, the student will be awarded 3 de-merits for the first instance, and 5 de-merits for each subsequent instance. (look into De-merit system)
