Welcome to the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme at Omega International School.

It is a great honour and privilege to be a part of this Institution, which endeavours to delve deeper into the true purpose of education. I have made it a goal throughout my entire career, to express my passion and enthusiasm in the classroom – as a teacher, as a mentor and as an administrator. I have served as a Lecturer, a facilitator for technology, assistant Principal of the Cambridge stream and most recently as an IBDP Coordinator. I feel fortunate and blessed to be in this leadership role and welcome every opportunity to acquire more knowledge and experience through leadership training and workshops. I have to my credit, various awards notably the “Best Teacher” award for sincere service in the field of education, awarded by the Rotary Club Chennai.

We at Omega International School understand the rigour that is required for every student, to excel in the Diploma Programme of the International Baccalaureate. We incorporate methodological planning that goes into scheduling classes, organising the CAS activities, facilitating the collaborative planning between teachers and across subjects and administering well designed assessments.

The IB Diploma Programme fosters in every student a love of learning, a deeper understanding of themselves and the world around them, an unwavering commitment towards their goals; that compels them to strive for a higher degree of excellence. It is a very well-rounded programme; it not only incorporates academics but also extracurricular activities and creates a social conscience within students through community service. Our first batch students excelled in their examination and acquired the skills of the 21st century, to face challenges of the world with confidence and vigour.

The teachers in Omega International School are experiencing a truly enriching learning experience through professional development programs. These programs help teachers to feel appreciated and guided in their field. With such support, there is confidence and a great responsibility to motivate students and to achieve success beyond school. We are a group (teachers) of diverse experiences and outlooks, committed to excellence in preparing learners (students), through collaborative and research skill.

I will continue to put the best interest of the students first and I am committed to implement the vision of this school.
