IBDP

The six subject groups are:

– Studies in Language & Literature  – Language acquisition – Individuals and Societies
– Sciences  – Mathematics  –  The Arts

GROUP 1 : Studies in Language & Literature

Language A : English A Language & Literature

GROUP 2 : Language Acquisition

Language B : English, Hindi, French, German and Spanish (HL / SL).

Language AB Initio : A foreign language course for beginners : French, German and Spanish SL.

GROUP 3 : Individuals and Societies

Business and Management HL/SL, Economics HL/SL, Environmental Systems and Societies SL, Information Technology in a Global Society (ITGS) HL/SL, Psychology HL/SL.

GROUP 4 : Sciences

Biology HL/SL, Chemistry SL/HL, Physics HL/SL, Computer Science HL/SL, Environmental Systems & Societies SL.

GROUP 5 : Mathematics

Mathematics HL/SL : Analysis and approaches, Applications and interpretation

GROUP 6 : The Arts

Visual Arts SL/HL.

General Information about the course:

  • IBDP students should choose a subject from each of the groups (1 to 5) as listed.

  • Students may choose to study an additional subject from groups 3, 4 or 6.

  • Students should take some subjects at Higher Level (HL Minimum 3 Maximum 4) and some at the Standard Level (SL Minimum 2 Maximum 3).

  • The Core Elements are: Theory of Knowledge (TOK), Creativity, Action & Service (CAS) and Extended Essay (EE).
